History of Casa Fernando Pessoa

In 1920, Fernando Pessoa moved with his family to the 1st right number 16 of Rua Coelho da Rocha, in Campo de Ourique, Lisbon. This was his 18th address and lived here until days before his death on November 30, 1935. This and the other apartments of the building had different occupations in the years that followed.

Bordalo Pinheiro Museum reopens in Lisbon six years later

The reopening of the Bordalo Pinheiro Museum, closed since 1999, was considered “the best tribute” to the artist, in the year in which the centenary of his death is celebrated, by the councilwoman of the culture of the City Council of Lisbon, Maria Manuel Pinto Barbosa, in the visit he made to the space with journalists.
